Students Enjoy Laugh at Lunch With Kabir Singh

Ascendant comedy star Kabir Singh kicked off the 2014-15 Laugh at Lunch series on Sept. 30 with a rousing performance in the Warner Student Life Center.

Students packed into the Navesink rooms during their lunch hour to hear fresh material from Singh, a California-based comic who has opened for the likes of Dave Chappelle, Dane Cook, Bill Burr and Russell Peters.

“I thought he was hilarious,” said first-year student Laura Castillo. “He made everyone laugh. I would love to go to more events like this.”

Laugh at Lunch, organized by Student Life and Activites (SLA), is held monthly throughout the school year from 12 to 1 p.m. and features free food and refreshments.

The events are designed to provide a mid-day break for students and an opportunity for classmates to come together and connect on campus. Check out the SLA homepage for more information on the comedic and musical acts scheduled to appear this semester.

Singh will be appearing on the Comedy Central show At Midnight on Friday, Oct. 3.
