Therapy Dogs returned to the Bankier Library on Thursday, December 12 during college hour to help students unwind during Anti-Stress Week.

Certified Therapy Dogs Allie, Juno, Houdini, Lexie, Luna, Nellie, and Dottie loved all the attention they were getting from Brookdale students and staff. The dogs were all on their best behavior as they let the students pet them and tell them what good dogs they were. A chosen few students even got kisses from some of the dogs.

During Anti-Stress week, the week of December 10, Student Life and Activities offered a number of activities to help students relax during finals. On Tuesday, December 10 during college hour, students were invited to relax in the Navesink rooms of the Student Life Center. Students were encouraged to make their own sugar scrub and add the calming scents of essential oils to it. There was an opportunity to get crafty by creating handmade cards that were then sent to children staying in hospitals around the world. Students could get some air at the oxygen bar which is said to reduce stress and improve focus. Free massages and comfy lounge chairs were available to help students decompress. Healthy snacks and hot drinks were also available for students. In the evening, message therapy and snacks were offered in the Bankier Library to help students reduce stress as well.
