Brookdale’s Women in Learning and Leadership Program (WILL @Brookdale) will partner with the American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) on March 26 to host a “Day of Dialogue” on the Lincroft campus.
The event, which will be held simultaneously at colleges and universities across the country, is designed to engage students, staff, faculty and community members in a conversation about the diverse issues and challenges that women face today.
As part of the AAWCC’s 40th anniversary and national Women’s History Month, the Day of Dialogue will also challenge community members to consider what changes can be made to eliminate obstacles for women in America.
“Join us as we work to shape the history and conversations to come,” said associate English Professor and WILL @Brookdale co-coordinator Roseanne Alvarez. “Your voice counts.”
The Day of Dialogue will be held in the Navesink I room of the Student Life Center from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 26. For more information contact Roseanne Alvarez at 732-224-2684 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
