Brookdale Fact Sheet 2014

More than 2,000 students earned associate degrees from Brookdale Community College in 2013-14, a graduating class that represented 16 different countries and accounted for 203 distinguished scholars and 42 perfect 4.0 GPAs.

During one of two commencement ceremonies held on the Lincroft campus on May 23, Brookdale President Dr. Maureen Murphy encouraged the graduates to make good use of their new skills and hard-earned educations.

“Your future is yours,” Murphy said. “And I look forward to seeing what you will do.”

The graduating class, however, only represented a small portion of the successes celebrated by Brookdale students during the past year. In total, more than 21,000 students earned credits at Brookdale in fiscal year 2013.

One out of every three Monmouth County high school graduates enrolled in the college in either the fall of 2013 or the spring of 2014, according to the Brookdale Office of Planning, Assessment and Research.
