Brookdale Community College continues to be one of the top associate degree-producing colleges in the country.
On Sept. 20 Community College Week released its annual Top 100 rankings, in which Brookdale ranks number 72 nationwide for total associate degrees conferred during the 2015-16 school year. Brookdale’s Class of 2016 earned a total of 2,054 associate degrees, the second highest total in the state for the third consecutive year.
The college’s #72 ranking is up five spots from last year, with a 7 percent increase in total degrees conferred.
“We could not be prouder of the class of 2016, who worked so hard to earn this incredible number of degrees,” said Brookdale President Dr. Maureen Murphy. “We also congratulate our dedicated faculty, staff and administrators, who worked alongside these students and helped make their successes possible.”
Brookdale has been among the top associate degree-producing colleges in the U.S. for many years, topping most of the nation’s more than 1,100 community colleges and a significant number of four-year universities as well.
