On Monday, Oct. 26, Brookdale Public Radio will kick off a week-long series of unique programming and exclusive offers as part of the station’s Fall 2015 Membership Drive. Running day and night through Friday, Oct. 30, the membership drive is one of the biggest annual fundraisers for 90.5 The Night.
Listeners are encouraged to become official members of Brookdale Public Radio and support one of the region’s most acclaimed stations by making a small monthly pledge or a one-time time annual gift.
New and returning members have access to a number of unique benefits, including early access to concert tickets, free 90.5 merchandise and admission to exclusive, members-only events offered throughout the year, said station manager Tom Brennan.
“Brookdale Public Radio is proud to be Monmouth and Ocean counties’ only local public radio station with a true and deep commitment to our beautiful piece of the Jersey Shore,” Brennan said.
“Due to generous donations, we are able to provide the local news, events and, of course, music that makes our area great. We are also able to support and promote local nonprofits, charities and mom-and-pop businesses, serving as a true community resource for our listeners and community members.”
This year’s Fall Membership Drive will feature two special event offers for qualifying donors: dinner for two on Nov. 18 at the Colts Neck Inn, including a performance by a soon-to-be announced artist; and admission for two to a Dec. 11th engagement at the Strand Center for the Arts in Lakewood, including hors d’oeuvres by Mumford’s Culinary Center and backstage passes for a performance by a soon-to-be announced artist.
