Brookdale STEM students may be eligible for a $200 book scholarship this spring, thanks to a new scholarship program offered by the Brookdale Foundation.
Applications are now being accepted for the scholarship, which is open to all full-time Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) students with 3.0 GPA and a financial need. Successful applicants will receive a $200 voucher toward the purchase of books at the Scroll and Pen Bookstore on the Lincroft campus.
Twenty-five scholarships are available for the Spring 2017 semester, thanks to a generous private donation made to the Foundation earlier this year.
“We are grateful and excited to be able to offer this new scholarship to deserving Brookdale students and help make their lives just a little bit easier this spring,” said Timothy Zeiss, executive director of the Brookdale Foundation and Alumni Affairs. “We encourage all eligible students to apply.”
Applicants must be enrolled in Brookdale’s STEM Institute, submit an unofficial transcript and complete a statement of financial need. Full details and the scholarship application form are available here. The application deadline is Dec. 21, 2016.
