Two Spring Fix Volunteers Continue The Path To Rebuild

One year ago, Hurricane Sandy destroyed homes and families all across the Eastern Seaboard. In March, 50 college students from across the country volunteered their time during spring break to help rebuild. Two of our volunteers, Kevin Moedt and Jenna Johnston, are continuing their work with United Way as team leaders. We caught up with them in Union Beach, NJ.

The Center for Holocaust, Human Rights and Genocide Education at Brookdale Community College hosts a screening of the 2006 documentary feature on the Lord’s Resistance Army and its history of human rights violations in Uganda — including murder, abduction, child sex slavery and forcing children to become child soldiers.
